2026 Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University

I was part of the many people working on Cardiff University's Kazakhstan campus to be awarded the "2026 Vice-Chancellor's Award for Outstanding Contribution to the University" at a nice awards dinner on Friday (there were more people involved that should have been recognised than were invited to the dinner).
There is a lot that can be said of what the University is trying to do in Kazakhstan. I have thoroughly enjoyed my time in Astana when I've been there and really enjoyed getting to know the students and the staff there.
